Rosh Hashanah (Day 2) Service Squared

  • Repair The World Workshop 808 Nostrand Avenue Brooklyn, NY, 11216 United States (map)

In addition to our traditional second day Rosh Hashanah services (together with Congregation Beth Elohim at CBE, beginning at 9:30am), this year Brooklyn Jews is partnering with Repair The World NYC for a quick and meaningful prayer service, followed by hands-on community service. We'll meet at the Repair the World workshop at 9 am for services and then head out to Bed Stuy Campaign Against Hunger (BSCAH), Brooklyn's busiest food pantry, to begin our year by serving those in need. Free, limited space, please RSVP here.

More details: We'll meet at 9am at 808 Nostrand Ave in Crown Heights for bagels & coffee followed by a one hour service led by Matt Green. At 10:30am, we'll travel by public transportation (bring your metrocard!) to BSCAH for two hours of service. The program will conclude at 1pm at 2010 Fulton Street. Dress is casual and please wear closed-toed shoes. We appreciate your RSVP! As space is limited and BSCAH is preparing for our group, we would greatly appreciate you letting us know in advance if you are unable to make it!
