New Jewish Culture Fellowship Summer Group Show

Brooklyn Jews is pleased to present a one night show of work by Arielle Angel, Chase Berggrun, Tom Haviv, and Daniel Terna. All four artists were participants in the 2018-19 New Jewish Culture Fellowship. The event will take place at Soloway Gallery on July 9th, 2019, from 7-9 PM.

Author Arielle Angel will be reading a work-in-progress about her father; poet Chase Berggrun will read new work; artist, writer, and activist Tom Haviv will be reading new work from his forthcoming book, A Flag of No Nation; and artist Daniel Terna will present a series of new photographs taken during Pope Francis’s 2015 visit to New York City.

This event marks the final public presentation of work from the 2018-19 Brooklyn Jewish Culture Fellowship recipients, a group of nine Brooklyn-based Jewish artists selected last Fall to participate in a project designed to amplify and connect local artists who make risk-taking Jewish art and culture.
