What can the meanings and histories of plants offer us when our bodies feel liminal, as we move through virus time, and enter into autumn, the season of decay? This is a plant happening for the days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, the window of liminality between newness and descent. Led by visual artist Ellie Lobovits, we will meet in Prospect Park to learn the stories of wild and cultivated plants, create Jewish plant ritual together and remember to remember what we may have forgotten but have always known.
